These are the boards that were used for the NUTS final test runs. Some were used for the SOLO testing and some for the MULTIPLE testing. They were created by the POTM-MASTER based on some suggestions from some leaders in the "traveling salesman problem" field and then sprinkled with some whim and fancy. They all conform to the requirement that nut density be less than 50%. All are 25x25 fields. They were not shared in any way prior to the final runs.

More or less a not-too-dense grid of nuts with a few missing from the pattern here and there. Designed primarily for the SOLO run based on an idea from David Applegate.
BULLETHOLES
Designed primarily for the SOLO runs based on a suggestion from David Applegate, I added THE GARDEN PATH to lead greedy squirrels astray during the MULTIPLE run.
CITIES
This one is called FRAMED because it is ... uhhh ... framed. It is symmetric on all axes and should offer some opportunity for smart squirrels to succeed in the MULTIPLE run.
FRAMED
This one is called MAZE - but it is not truly a maze. The inspiration was the levels and ladders in Mario - no symmetry intended, but not quite random.
MAZE
This one is called POTM_RULES. I guess it is not really necessary to explain further.
POTM_RULES
This one is called RANDU. It is a randomly generated grid with density of 50%.
