From the write-ups, here is Olaf's explanation of the name:
the last potm entry was named like my 1. daughter (rayka)
and now we have 2 daughters -- so the choice was very easy.
But last time i had much more time.

POTM-MASTER's attention which appears to have worked. Note
that these sorts of things tend only to work ONCE!!!
Best Guess and Most curious Post on the Forums

has got to go to xavier for scrunch - the winner of POTM ONE finished
all six final boards in a TOTAL of 26.13 seconds with the best
scores of any entry!
Best Barfing Squirrel
closseau's "skwirrel" dumped 400,000 bytes to his temporary file
before timing out on the first move. Cleanup crews were immediately
dispatched so that the pile would not interfere with the other
participants.
Best non-C squirrel
NutCracker4 from mjs managed a 7th place finish in the SOLO POTM with a python entry and then came through with a 3rd place finish in the MULTIPLE POTM.
Best AWK entry
